Jute has been used as a floor covering for centuries. Produced from the stalk of a woody herb, Jute is hand harvested, soaked in water and pounded with mallets to release the natural fibres. These fibres are then spun to produce a lustrous yarn. Available in two distinctive weaves - Bouclé, and Herringbone, and in one natural colour, the Jute range comes pre treated with a high performance stain resistant protector. Because of the soft and luxurious nature of this range it is best suited to areas of low wear such as bedrooms.
